Liquid Rhinoplasty

Conveniently located to serve St. George and Ivins, Utah

What is liquid rhinoplasty?

Liquid rhinoplasty or Non-surgical Rhinoplasty is a non-surgical alternative to a traditional rhinoplasty that can help patients achieve their aesthetic goals. If you’re planning to get liquid rhinoplasty in St. George, double-board-certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Kent Gardner is an ideal choice.

The treatment consists of injecting dermal fillers, such as hyaluronic acid, underneath the skin to temporarily change the structure of the nose.

Is liquid rhinoplasty right for me?

You are a good candidate for liquid rhinoplasty if you have a small nasal bump, a droopy nasal tip, or an asymmetrical nose.

However, you are not a good candidate for liquid rhinoplasty if you want to fix a broken or crooked nose or address breathing issues. These issues will require a surgical rhinoplasty.

Your consultation

During your initial consultation, Dr. Gardner will assess if you are a good candidate for liquid rhinoplasty. He will ask about your nose and your cosmetic goals. He will also review your medical history, discuss your options, and answer your questions.

How long is the liquid rhinoplasty procedure?

The Liquid Rhinoplasty procedure only takes around 30 minutes. Compared to a traditional, surgical rhinoplasty which can take anywhere from one to four hours to complete, the liquid rhinoplasty procedure is a much quicker procedure.

What to expect during a liquid rhinoplasty procedure?

A numbing cream is first applied to the skin then the dermal fillers are injected into the nose to add volume and symmetry where needed.

  • Results are immediate, and there’s very minimal recovery time.
  • You can have the procedure done and return to work the same day.
  • Since there’s no anesthesia, you’re awake and conscious during the entire procedure.
  • The results are not permanent and can last 6-12 months.

What is aftercare like?

There is no downtime or recovery time needed after getting liquid rhinoplasty. You can resume your daily activities, but avoid strenuous exercise for 1 to 2 days.

You might experience temporary minor swelling, redness, or pain near the injection area, but these should disappear in an hour or two. You will see final results once all swelling has gone down.

Patients should refrain from wearing glasses regularly, especially heavy ones, for one or two weeks after getting liquid rhinoplasty. This helps avoid putting excessive pressure on the nose.

How much does liquid rhinoplasty cost?

The cost of liquid rhinoplasty is lower than surgical rhinoplasty. Its price depends on your cosmetic goals, how much filler the surgeon will use, and which products are used.
